We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in full-cycle accounting to join our dynamic finance team. This is a unique opportunity to apply your expertise across all stages of the accounting process, contributing to a forward-thinking and fast-paced organization that values accuracy, efficiency, and innovation in financial operations.  Crypto experience is a plus but not required.

Position Overview:

As a Senior Accountant with strong technical accounting skills and experience in outsourced accounting, you will play a critical role in helping manage and optimizing the financial operations of our diverse group of clients. You will be responsible for overseeing various accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, and coordinating outsourced accounting activities to maintain compliance and efficiency across multiple client engagements.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and/or review month-end close schedules to ensure accurate accounting records 

  • Reconcile bank and credit card transactions; later, manage crypto subledgers and ensure accurate tie-outs.  

  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and report on accounting matters.

  • Oversee outsourced accounting processes, including vendor management and performance evaluation.

  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Review and assist in the preparation of tax filings and audits.

  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.

  • Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance financial systems and procedures.

  • Mentor and provide training to junior staff on accounting practices and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA designation is a plus.

  • Minimum 2.5 years of experience as an Accountant, with a strong focus on full-cycle accounting 

  • Proficiency in accounting software (S), Microsoft products and Google

  • Experience with outsourced accounting services and vendor management.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.

  • Effectively listen, communicate, and work collaboratively with team members across various departments.

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving industry.

  • Mentor junior staff or associates, providing guidance and support in traditional accounting.
